Dr. Punya Chopra MBBS, MD (Gold Medalist), PGDip Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology (UK), Dr. Punya Chopra is a highly skilled and accomplished physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, followed by an MD in Medicine from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, where she was awarded a gold medal for academic excellence. Further honing her expertise, Dr. Chopra pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology (International Training Fellowship) from Leighton Hospital, Mid Cheshire NHS Trust, UK. Her professional Journey includes working as a Clinical Extern in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Brigham and Womeri’s Hospital, USA, and as a Senior Resident in the Department of Medicine at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. She has also served as a Visiting Consultant Rheumatologist at Fortis Hospital, Noida, and most recently, as a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at Metro Multispeciality Hospital, Noida. Dr. Chopra has a deep interest in managing diabetes, hypertension, heart and lung diseases, infectious diseases, autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, allergies, diabetes, metabolic disorders, hormonal Imbalances, and preventive healthcare.
