Dr. Punya Chopra

Dr. Punya Chopra is a highly skilled and accomplished physician specializing in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, followed by an MD in Medicine from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, where she was awarded a gold medal for academic excellence. Further honing her expertise, Dr. Chopra pursued an International Training Fellowship from Leighton Hospital, Mid Cheshire NHS Trust, UK and an aditional Postgraduate Diploma in Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology from University of South Wales, UK.

Her professional Journey includes working as a Clinical Extern in the Department of Pulmonary Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, USA, and as a Senior Resident in the Department of Medicine at Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. She has also trained as a Fellow in Rheumatologist at Fortis Hospital, Noida. She previously served as a Consultant in the Department of Medicine and Rheumatology at Metro Multispeciality Hospital, Noida before starting her private practice.

She now serves full time as Consultant and Proprieter at Svastham Clinic GK2 in addition to her attachments as a Visiting Consultant at The Women’s Hospital, Nehru Enclave ; Moolchand Multispeciality Hospital, Lajpat Nagar and SSB Multispeciality Kailash Colony in New Delhi.
Dr. Chopra has a deep interest in managing diabetes, hypertension, heart and lung diseases, infectious diseases, autoimmune and rheumatic diseases, allergies, diabetes, metabolic disorders, hormonal Imbalances, and preventive healthcare. She also holds Academic Authorship (including principal author) of various research papers inlcluding case reports and series in various super-specialties of Medicine.
